Under the Twilight

"You defeated Uhmio, the Corruptor. The world moved on, but you didn't."

Under the Twilight is a one-page solo journaling game about memory, illusion, and what remains when the journey ends.

Uhmio doesn't attack the body; he corrupts your access to the past. You might hold a perfect memory in your mind and never know if it is truly yours. To find out what is left of you, you must retrace your steps from the very beginning.

Remember. Write. And above all, doubt what you remember.

This game was created for the One-Page RPG Jam 2026.

The Experience

Using a standard Tarot deck and a journal, you will walk a path of 10 memories to discover your ending:

• The Map (Minor Arcana): Tests your awareness threshold, determining if a memory emerges lucidly or if it has been corrupted by Uhmio.
• The Destiny (Major Arcana): Dictates the central event of the memory through evocative keywords rather than rigid tables.

The Artifact

When corruption strikes, the game demands physical changes to your writing—switching from pen to pencil, shifting to the second person, or scribbling out words.

By the end of your session, your journal will become a tactile artifact of a fragmented mind. You may attempt to rewrite the past to heal, but the price is steep: you must permanently cross out a truth about who you used to be.

Note: This game touches on themes of melancholia, grief, and fragmented identity. Please play safely and at your own pace.
